Scholarly Activity
- 2020 Dissertation; A Causal Comparative Study of Burnout Among Public and Charter Elementary School Teachers in North Carolina.
- This study examined burnout and its impact on the sustainability of traditional public school teachers in comparison to its impact on the sustainability of charter school teachers. The instruments used in this study include a researcher-created demographic questionnaire and the Maslach Burnout Inventory-Educators Survey (MBI-ES). The MBI-ES measures the three subscale levels of exhaustion, depersonalization, and personal accomplishment. The results of this study contributed to the current existing literature on the topic of burnout and its impact on teachers in North Carolina.
